Before you dive into your first term of classes, we have a jam-packed week of exciting activities to help you become acclimated to campus life. From speakers, to socials, to signing your name on the sidewalk, join your fellow new wolves to begin making your mark at WOU!


2025 PACK Welcome Week Session Types

PACK Welcome Week is full of great events, sessions, and resources for you to hit the ground running for fall term! The schedule is color-coded with different types of events.


  • Green: Mandatory Event (All New WOU Students)
    • Required for both on- & off-campus new students
  • Orange: Mandatory Event (Off Campus New Students Only)
    • Required only for off-campus new students
  • Yellow: Mandatory Event (All On Campus Students)
    • Required only for all on-campus students (whether you're a new student or a returning student)
  • Pink: Mandatory Event (On Campus New Students Only)
    • Required only for on-campus new students
  • Blue: Highlighted Event
    • Highlighted events are large-scale events and activities that are highly attended and are great ways to get involved, make new friends, and get connected to campus resources!
  • Purple: Mini Event
    • Mini events are smaller events and activities that are highly encouraged for you to attend to get involved, make new friends, and get connected to campus resources!
  • Red: Educational Session
    • Ed sessions are 50-minute sessions that typically help you get to know information about a specific resource. These sessions are concurrent and you can choose any of them you’d like to attend!
    • These sessions also have different themes to help you understand what the session will cover.
      • Academics Resources:Services to help you succeed in your studies
        • E.g., Tutoring, Library Services, Study Skills Workshops, Mini/mock classes
        • Diversity & Inclusion:Programs and resources that promote diversity and inclusion
          • E.g., Cultural Organizations, LGBTQ+ Resources, Diversity and Inclusion Workshops
        • Financial Information:Resources to help you manage your finances
          • E.g., Financial Aid Information, Budgeting Workshops
        • Student Life:Opportunities to get involved and build community
          • E.g., Clubs and Organizations, Student Government, Intramural Sports
        • Student Resources:Services and resources to help you as a student during your time at WOU
          • E.g., Wolfride, Counseling, Food Pantry, Career Services
  • Turquoise: Free Time
    • These times are primarily to indicate meal times! Grab a bite to eat and enjoy some time to relax (and maybe plan some of your next sessions!)
